2 months, 3 days, 16 hours, 37 minutes and 2 seconds...that's how long my MS Flareup officially lasted. It's done. I feel it. Aside from a very few leg spasms (at night for some reason), I am better. I can't explain why it FINALLY was done, other than to say this final round of steroids and the cooler Fall temps kicked in and that did it.
WOW! This was my first BIG BIG Flare since my 2003 diagnosis so I guess I can't complain. But, man alive. However, the past 4 days, I can walk like before - run if i wanted to do so - no pain, no constant spasms and it's over. About freaking time. My butt is going to get in shape now like you would not believe so I can be as strong as possible in the future and do my best from a physical standpoint to not let this occur for so long again.
I will get the final Spinal MRI results on Oct 6th, and he already told me I have "several" lesions in my spine. However, as of right now, they are not stopping me anymore. I'm thrilled that I will be able to walk, stand and dance at my wedding in November! I picked out my wedding dress today and I felt so beautiful. I can't express how thankful and happy I am. And now on to how to fight this disease the best I can with what I have.
Thank you all for allowing me to vent/post about all the challenges over the past few weeks, I am sure there will be more in the future with this disease, but, I at least feel like I am back to my baseline now minus a few leg spasms which may hang around a bit I have a feeling. I am THRILLED to say that at least this is over. I can honestly say I had NO IDEA. All those years I watched my mom suffer, you have no idea until you experience it. And I know this is a progressive disease, here's to hoping it slows down in progression for me and for all of us!
So, I will be posting more stuff I am sure and maybe more happy stuff too! Thanks so much for your words of encouragement and support during this trying time.

Hey, I'm so glad that you're feeling better. And congrats on finding a wedding dress.
I know you will be extremely busy in the time up until the wedding, but I hope that you continue to share. It's good to hear when people are doing well and to offer support when they are not.
Now go practice those dance moves.
