What will happen in 2011? We can't be sure. What I am sure of, is that some things will never change including the unpredictability that is MS.
Sometimes it takes a smack in the face or numbness in the legs to get you going back on the right track. And for me 2011 is a year of Change. Change in the way I treat me body. Change in the way I live my life. Lots of Changes are going to happen this year. I will Change the Path of my MS!
Right now I am dealing with Severe Numbness in both my legs and the whole left side of my body. Can't see the Neuro till next week but in the meantime put myself on some low dose predisone I had at home. It helps with rest, but the minute I try to do anything the numbness is back. So, I am doing my VERY best to be positive and deal with these symptoms while making my 2011 plan to change my health and my life for the better.
I'd like to loose 54lbs and according to www.caloriecounter.com I should be able to do so by November 2011. If I stick to 1200 calories a day and get exercise. Which is my goal. Only difference is I have MS to deal with and the Chain Reactions it causes in my life plan. By nature I am a planner. I love to plan. However, I can be indecisive so I love to change plans. This is mostly due to my daily battles with MS. This year of Twenty Eleven I have a plan to loose this weight and be an advocate for my own health. That plan cannot change.
2010 went down in the books as not such a great year for me. 2011 will be better and I am here to announce this goal of mine so I can put a counter up on the site and hopefully gain some support from my Blog Buddies! I know an important part of being an advocate for my health and my MS is to be fit and strong. That is my goal. So you will hear me post about it among other topics this year. I'm glad to be back in the blogging world and hope to reconnect with many of my old friends and make many more new ones!
So look out...this year...I'm taking on my MS....and I'm a BULL!!!
